Tureen with cover

Tureen, hard- paste porcelain, oval form with waisted foot curving sides, the sides moulded with wide spiral fluting and an impressed basket work patterns around the rim, to either end of the body twin foliate moulded terminals for the handles, the handles themselves broken off and missing, oval domed cover moulded with wide spiral fluting and an impressed basket work pattern around the rim, to the top of the cover a finial moulded in the form of a rose with a bud and leaves; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the sides of the trees and cover scattered sprays and sprigs of flowers, at terminals of the handles picked out in puce, the finial painted in puce and green.
