The S.S. ST. PATRICK seen here at sea as hospital ship no 3A. The S.S. ST. PATRICK was one of three sister vessels built for the G.W.R. in 1906 for the newly-inaugurated Fishguard-Rosslare ferry service. She was built by John Brown & Co., and saw service as a hospital ship during World War I. She caught fire while moored at Fishguard on 7 April 1929 and was sold for scrap the following year.
