Pot and cover

Mustard pot and cover, pale orange earthenware body with inclusions, inset base with dinstinct foot, the body very thickly potted with slightly concave sides, the rim formed by a separate, thinner strip of clay, the cover of a slightly concave form with 'U' shaped notch roughly cut into cover to form gap for spoon, simple flaring, domed knop; the pot and cover entirely covered with a blue-grey tin glaze, pooling in places, with crackeleur over the surface.
