Car gwyllt (the wild horse)

Car gwyllt (quarryman's trolly) used on the inclines of Chwarel Graig Ddu, Blaenau Ffestiniog from 1866 until the quarry closed in 1943. The Car Gwyllt took about eight minutes to travel down three inclines to the foot of the lowest incline.
