Creation/Production

Ronald Lowe taught at Haverfordwest Grammar School for seventeen years, before becoming Her Majesty’s Inspector, Art,Wales. He exhibited widely in numerous group exhibitions in Wales and lectured in history of art at University College of Wales, Aberystwyth for many years. His work was the subject of an exhibition at Newport Museum and Art Gallery in 1988. Maurice Sheppard wrote of Ron Lowe that ‘his pictures are full of dazzling visual improvisations which are a proof of the intuitive, receptive and spontaneous in his imagination’.
