Cup, tea and saucer

Teacup and saucer, red terracotta earthenware; cup with elongated ovoid body, standing on a shallow rounded foot-rim, rouletted and burnished a red-brown, everted lip, loop handle in form of a reversed six with ball terminal; coated in a mottled off-white tin-glaze, the interior plain, the exterior with orange veining from the body, and densely ornamented with blue spots, the lip blue; saucer dish-shaped, on a rouletted foot, with a rounded lip and cup recess, coated in off-white tin-glaze, the rim sparsely ornamented with blue spots, the recess more densely spotted, the lip blue veined with green.
