Sugar bowl with cover

Sugar bowl, hard-paste porcelain, oval form with short foot-rim and curving shaped sides, oval domed cover with a shaped edge, the finial broken off, around the upper body of the bowl and the rim of the cover moulded borders of rectangular panels with alternate panels containing rococo scrolls; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the interior and exterior of the bowl and the top of the cover scattered sprays and sprigs of flowers, the plain panels to the moulded borders contain painted floral sprigs, gilt edges to the bowl and cover.
