ss DRAKENBURG CASTLE (9904gt) : Built 1944/45 as EMPIRE ALLENBY by J.L.Thompson & Sons Ltd., Sunderland, for MoWT, managed by Prince Line (Furness, Withy & Co Ltd.). 1946 - Sold to Union Castle Mail Steamship Co Ltd., and renamed DRAKENSBURG CASTLE. 1949 - Sold to Hong Kong Salvage & Towage Co, Hong Kong, and broken up there in the September of that year.
