Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Ingot (fragment)

unknown (Manufacturer)

Part of an ingot of Monotype metal with 10% tin, 15% antimony and 75% lead. This metal has to be harder and stronger than Linotype metal becasue the separate types do no have the advantage of the support available when they are cast in lines or 'slugs'.
