Sucrier, tin-glazed earthenware, short foot-rim and high curving sides, domed cover with flower finial; decorated in high temperature colours with to either side of the body of the sucrier landscapes with classical columns, the larger landscape with three figures, floral sprays and sprigs between the two landscapes, around the upper body and the sides of the cover a border of a waving brown line with flashes of other colours and issuing further floral sprigs, the finial painted in naturalistic enamels, blue lines around the foot-rim, lip-rim and rim of the cover.
