Group of blacksmith shop craftsmen at the old Maindy Colliery in Ton Pentre, Rhondda. The foreman blacksmith is in the centre of the front row. This colliery was the first to be sunk by David Davies of Llandinam, the founder of the Ocean Coal Company.
