Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides, around the sides of the well four panels of moulded curving ribs and an impressed basket-work border; painted in polychrome enamels with to the well a spray of naturalistic flowers and four floral sprigs, including pansies and forget-me-nots to the sides of the well, around the upper sides a simple gilt foliate border, a gilt line around the edge of the rim.
