Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Seal impression: Medieval

Cardigan, First Common Seal. In use perhaps from 1284 to 1888. Obverse: An unfortified structure, with tiers of windows; possibly a town-gate. The whole has an ecclesiastical appearance, with a possible statue in a recess at the top centre, though some castles do have these.
