Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Tea-caddy, hard-paste porcelain, oval form with straight sides, stepped shoulder and short neck, oval cover with flat top and cone finial; finely painted in polychrome enamels with sprays of garden flowers to either side of the body and further floral sprigs around the rest of the body and the cover, around the upper body of the caddy and the rim of the cover a pink and puce diapered border, gilt lines around the shoulder of the caddy and the rim of the cover, the finial picked out in gilt.
