In the Llysidinam album at the National Library of Wales, the image is accompanied by a poem by Robert Southey (1774 - 1843) - "Ah ! Wildings of nature I doat upon you ! For ye mind me of summers of old - When fairwood anemones gladdened my sight Like Treasures of silver and gold !"
