Jug and cover

Jug, hard-paste porcelain, pear-shaped body with rounded foot, beak spout modelled with a female mask and rococo scrolls to the underside, and a scrolled handle with foliate moulding, domed cover with a finial in the form of a pear with a stem and leaves; finely painted in red enamel with to the front of the jug a landscape with a figure and buildings, a smaller landscape to the cover, around the rest of the jug and cover scattered floral sprigs, the mask to the spout painted in naturalistic enamels, the rococo scrolls picked out in puce, the finial painted in naturalistic enamels.
