S.S. FORT ST. JAMES (7127gt ). North Sands type cargo vessel built 1942 by Burrard Dry Dock Co., North Vancouver with engine by Dominion Engineering Works, Montreal, for MoWT (managed by Ellermann Wilson Line), Bristol. 1946 - Sold to Temple SS Co (Lambert Bros), London, ands renamed TEMPLE BAR. 1959 - Sold to Wallem & Co., Hong Kong and renamed NORD SKY. 1959 - Sold to the Peoples' Republic of China and renamed HOPING 27. 1967 - Renamed ZHAN DOU 27 (same owner). She was 'deleted' from Lloyds Register in 1992.
