Cup, tea and saucer

Tea cup, thinly hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and shallow rounded sides, an impressed reeded pattern to the interior, plain loop handle; decorated with to the front of the cup a grey shield supported by a pink ribbon and painted with a rose and bud, a rose and forget-me-not to the rest of the exterior sides, a further rose bud to the interior, the handle picked out in puce. Saucer, thinly potted hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides, an impressed reeded patterna around the sides of the well; decorated with to the well a grey shield supported by a pink ribbon and painted with a spray of forget-me-nots, a rose and a forget-me-not to the sides of the well.
