Cup and saucer, bone china, circular cup with straight sides that flare out towards the rim and which are rounded at the bottom, indented circular foot, two high loop handles which curve and terminate into serpent's heads, circular saucer with high sides and a footring and an indented central reserve; the interior and exterior of the cup and the interior of the saucer are decorated with a border of garden flowers framed by a gilt line border and a gilt bead border, both pieces are banded with a leaf-shaped border in gold and painted with a flower in the central reserve, the handles are gilded.
