Exchequer Seal for the County Palatine of Chester, and the County of Flint, Obverse: Equestrian: the queen Anne riding side-saddle on horse pacing to left, holding her sword aloft; the steed having a tasselled breast-band and ornamented saddle-cloth. Above the horse's tail, a shield: three garbs, Chester. Beneath the horse, a landscape: horse's tail, a shield: three garbs, Chester. Beneath the horse, a landscape: the castle of Flint next the Dee estuary, on which three ships sail.
