Reverend J. Gwili Jenkins (1872-1936)

EVANS, Jenkin (Artist)

Gwili Jenkins was a Welsh poet and Baptist preacher. Between 1932 and 1936 he was Archdruid of the Gorsedd of Wales (the modern-day community of bards who organise the National Eisteddfod). This bust was made by his son, Evan Jenkins, 2 years after his father's death
