Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Roman copper alloy crescentic pendant

A lunate pendant with the tips of the inverted crescent terminating in lobes in relief. Raised from a thin sheet of copper alloy with the shank twisted to form a suspension loop for attachment. Possibly an apron fitting or horse harness trapping.
