Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Plate

Plate, soft-paste porcelain, clear white translucency, lustrous glaze; shallow foot, plain rim moulded with six large and small lobes; the centre painted with four scattered sprays of garden flowers, the rim decorated with four oval heart-shaped panels containing a mosaic of blue and white triangles and four smaller panels painted with sprays of flowers within elaborate gilt cartouches.
