Wedgwood (Factory)

Box and cover, earthenware, circular and shaped into eight lobes, flat base, flat topped cover with vertical sides; the centre of the lid is decorated in blue relief with the royal crown beneath which is a portrait of Edward VIII below which is a banner containing the inscription EDWARD VIII 1937, the rim of the lid and the rim of the box are banded with a laurel border in blue relief.
