Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, short cylindrical form with sloping shoulder, plain curving spout, high loop handle with foliate moulded thumbspur; the exterior sides sprigged with to either side two classical figures and an urn which have been left in the white and unglazed, around the lower body, shoulder and tip of the spout borders in gilt of short vertical lines and dots, a crenellated gilt band around the neck, the handle picked out in gilt.
