Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Cup, tea

Tea cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving ogee sides, twisted handle; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the cup a bird flying in a landscape, two floral sprigs to the rest of the exterior with a further sprig to the interior, gilt borders around the foot-rim and lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt.
