Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Plate

Small plate, creamware, with flat base, curved sides and upcurved rim; decorated in underglaze black with a vignette from the 'Garden' series comprising a tree in the centre, a wheelbarrow and flying bird to the right, a tree stump to the left with an axe, a saw and a bill hook, a band of 16 stretched 'S' motifs round the rim, graded yellow enamelling on the rim, patches of yellow enamel over the central vignette.
