Cup, cover and saucer, trembleuse

Cup, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, cylindrical sides curving inwards towards the base, loop handle modelled in the form of a twig with spreading leaves and berries issuing from the terminals, round domed cover fitted with a silver rim and with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a citrus fruit with a stem and leaves, the exterior body of the cup and the top of the cover ornamented with applied sprays of prunus blossom; left in the white and glazed. Saucer, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides, to the centre of the well a raised cup-guard divided into three sections, the sides of the well ornamented with applied sprays of prunus blossom; left in the white and glazed.
