Lister engine

Vertical, side valve, tank cooled petrol engine with twin flywheels (spoked). It has a chain driven Lucas magneto with a sheet metal guard over chain. There is a 'second series' carburettor fitted, with a sliding baffle plate which is controlled by a governor. It has a 330mm pulley and an additional narrow pulley of 150mm dia fitted at the starting handle end of crankshaft (this is not a standard fitting). Bore - 140mm, Stroke - 140mm.
