Cape Copper Company (Manufacturer)

Rectangular copper ingot with inscription on top. Recovered from the wreck of the S.S. CITY OF DRESDEN, outward bound from Swansea for Hamburg, Germany with 'general cargo, copper, ingots' [sic], collided with S.S. ESCHOLBROOK of Grimsby and was wrecked off Dungeness on 19 January 1907.
