Cup, coffee

Coffee cup, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain with a green translucency; standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape, with a curvaceous ogee handle; painted with a narrow, shaped underglaze blue border with gilt scales, with pendent stylised red and gilt flowers and green leaves, and small blue flowers and turquoise leaves; inside the cup, a gilt continuous scroll border with red dots, and a gilt rosette with red fronds; gilt band to foot rim, and gilt leaf to the handle.
