Sucrier with cover

Sucrier, hard-paste porcelain, bucket-shaped form with rounded waisted foot-rim and flaring cylindrical sides, to either side of the body twin ornamental ring handles, round domed cover with to the top a ball finial; finely painted in polychrome enamels and gilt with around the exterior upper body of the sucrier and the sides of the cover a border of repeating floral sprigs in purple and green enamels and feathery gilt ornament, around the lower body of the sucrier and the top of the cover scattered floral and foliate sprigs in blue and green enamels and in gilt, a band of gilt dots around the centre of the exterior body of the sucrier and around the top of the cover, gilt lines around the lower body and exterior lip-rim of the sucrier and around the rim of the cover, the handles and finial painted in gilt. The lip-rim of the sucrier and ther rim of the cover slightly chipped.
