Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Mug, earthenware, cylindrical, indented base, loop handle; transfer-printed in black with silhouettes of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II and H.R.H Duke of Edinburgh each within heart shaped wreaths that are supported by the lion and the unicorn, the front of the mug is printed with the Royal Crown in black under which is inscribed E II R / 1952, the base is decorated with a silver band and inscribed with SILVER / 1977 / HRH PRINCE PHILIP JUBILEE in a banner and SILVER / 1977 / HM QUEEN ELIZABETH JUBILEE in a banner, the rim is banded with a silver border, the inside rim is inscribed with GOD SAVE THE QUEEN, each side of the handle is decorated with a silver line and the flat of the handle is decorated with a leaf border in black.
