Large bowl, buff stoneware with visible mineral and burnt-out vegetal inclusions, the body a gently curving, open form with slightly out-turned rim, clearly visible coils and foot ring; the body glazed on the interior with a grey-green glaze and on the exterior with a red-black iron-rich glaze over grey-green, with an inlaid glaze design of freely drawn oblongs, flowing wavy lines and herringbone designs, the foot ring is unglazed.
