Unititled handwritten essay, six pages, in Welsh by a person unknown describing the various methods that were used when mining slates until the earlier part of the 20th century. The material was kept safely by Ann Emlyn Jones (1923-1999) and donated later to the Welsh Slate Museum by her granddaughter Mrs Mari Emlyn.
