Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Lathe

Metal turning, treadle lathe. Flat bed (1300mm long) of dovetail section with gap. Gap section missing. Three step headstock pulley, for flat belt drive. Headstock has backgears and tumbler reverse gears for power feed. Longtitudinal power feed via leadscrew, it probably also had screw cutting capability. No chuck fitted, headstock spindle threaded 1'' B.S.W. Colour - Duck Egg Blue - not original. No makers name. Wooden knobs on operating handles.
