Sugarbowl and cover, hard-paste porcelain, circular with curved sides on a narrow stem and a spreading circular base, vertical rim and two side handles moulded into the shape of lions heads, domed cover with concave sides and a pinecone finial; the exterior is completely gilded with white bands decorating the cover, the rim, the mid-point of the body, the bottom and the foot, the interior rim is banded with a wide gold border, the mid section of the body and the cover are banded with a wide continuous border of flowers.
