Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Miniature jug, earthenware, globular-shaped body with a trumpet-shaped neck atop which sits an inverted truncated conical-shaped spout with a flattened rim, footring, loop handle; the neck is decorated and glazed with a border of black vertical lines within black horizontal lines, the main body is decorated with two female figures in classical dress and a flower motif at the base of the handle against a glazed black ground.
