Rail chair key
A rail chair key (holding wedge) used to hold a section of iron rail tight in a rail chair. This rail chair key (holding wedge) is from the old workshops in Penyrorsedd Quarry, Dyffryn Nantlle, and was given to Dr Gwynfor Pierce Jones by Mr John Peredur Hughes who was once a manager at the quarry.
