Sectioned electric motor from exhibition :- Textiles: an assembly of machinery (sectioned) used in the conversion of acetate viscose: in staple fibre cutting, box spinning and winding of yarn during the manufacture of rayon. A number of 'cakes' and spools of natural and coloured yarns, materials and carpet samples, and photographs of process. All as part of an exhibit in the first East Wing Department of Industry in 1959, which described the manufacture of rayon at Courtaulds Greenfield Works, Holywell (at the time the largest works of it's kind in the world).
