Sucrier with cover

Sucrier and cover, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a rectangular shaped foot rim, bulging sides to shoulder, concave curve to waved lip; rectangular loop handles with pointed terminals; rectangular cover, raised to the centre with a pointed octagonal finial; painted with set pattern 257; pink stylised tulips linked by gilt scrolls and a chain, alternating with a gilt pine cone ornament, all on a buff ground, bordered by a plain gilt band and a gilt border of repeating circles; a gilt decorative border above the shoulder, and gilt detailing on the handle and finial.
