Pickle dish, earthenware, diamond-shaped form with flat base and curving sides; transfer-printed in underglaze blue with to the well a Chinese landscape with pagodas, trees and fences, around the rim an elaborate border with angular scrollwork and wheel-motifs against a diaper-pattern ground.
