Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Plate, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim, curving sides, and spreading rim with scalloped edge, spreading up the sides of the well and the rim four panels of moulded curving ribs and a border of piercing edged by moulded ribbons below and an impressed basket-work pattern above; painted in polychrome enamels with to the well a spray of naturalistic flowers, four further floral sprigs to the rim, the moulded ribbons painted green.
