Teapot and cover, soft-paste porcelain, globular body on footring, high lipring, clip handle, curved spout, domed cover with flat rim, button finial; sprigged rose decoration on body and cover, flower motifs in underglaze blue on spout, handle and finial, underglaze blue border around the footring and base of lipring, blue underglaze border on cover rim, gilded spout, lipring and finial rim edge.
