Violeteer and cover, soft-paste porcelain, cylindrical with an out-turned rim, flat base, pierced flat cover with a flower shaped finial; the rim is encrusted with flowers and the cover is encrusted with flowers and roses, the edges are deorated with gilt line borders, painted with a border of flower sprays against a chocolate and rose ground, the underside of the rim is decorated with a gold border.
