Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Early Bronze Age pottery collared urn

Upper portion (including rim, neck and shoulder) of coarse, gritty, dark brown ware. The decoration consists of double plaited cord impressions encircling the pot in a somewhat erratic manner, from the rim to a point below the shoulder, and arranged in a hurdle-pattern on the inside of the collar.
