Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Cream jug or small sauce boat, white earthenware with 'Creation' glaze, which is blue-grey in colour with uneven brown speckles, foot ring and squat, cylindrical body, distinct sharply sloping shoulder with upright, cylindrical neck, straight spout and circular loop handle; the foot, shoulder and rim are coloured with a hand-painted line of dark brown iron oxide, which has flown slightly into the surrounding glaze giving an uneven, textured finish.
