Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Mug

Mug, hard-paste porcelain, cylindrical with straight sides that have an indented groove around the base, loop handle with scrolled terminals and a thumb rest, footring; decorated with a band of pink roses and blue flowers held between two gilt line borders, below the floral band is a wreath of gold leaves in which is the monogram W C, the footring is banded with a gilt line border and the handle is decorated with gilt flourishes.
