S.S. OCEAN TRAVELLER (7174gt). Built in 1942 by Todd-Bath Iron S.B. Corp., at East Yard, South Portland, Maine as OCEAN TRAVELER (sic) for MOWT, Liverpool, and managed by Lyle Shipping Co., Glasgow. 1947 - Sold to Lyle Shipping Co. and renamed CAPE CORSO. 1959 - In July, she was involved in a collision and run aground while on a voyage from Makatea Island to Dunedin, and was subsequently scrapped in September, 1959 at Hong Kong.
