Sugar box and cover, bone china, octagonal with slightly rounded sides, slightly domed octagonal cover with cherry-shaped finial, two bracket handles (one of which is broken and missing), footring; decorated with a border of large pink roses lying on top of gilt leaves and a gilt leaf border, the edges of the box and cover are decorated with a gilt bead border, the finial is gilded.
